More than 1,600 children and families attended Bounce-a-Palooza in the Enterprise Field aboard Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville April 28. Event-goers enjoyed a variety of inflatable activities for all ages, contests, arts and crafts, human-sized bubbles, face painting, balloon animals, lawn games, photos and even a tour inside of a fire truck with the First Coast Navy Fire and Emergency Services.
Having attended Bounce-a-Palooza for the first time, the Freyoux family was excited by all that was available. “Our four-year-old had a blast,” said Katie Freyoux, “and the event was well thought out all around.”
Registered members of the Exceptional Family Member Program received fast pass privileges at all activities and even utilized the on-site sensory room. Tents were also set up for members of the Fleet and Family Support Center, Blue Star Families and NAS Jacksonville Environmental to interact with attendees. Sponsors included USAA and VyStar Credit Union.
