The NAS Jax Child Development Center (CDC) held its annual fall festival Oct. 31.
This year's theme was "Sports Teams" as many of the children and staff members came out sporting their favorite team's jerseys.
The children enjoyed a variety of activities such as cheerleading, cookie decorating, football tosses and storytelling. The also stuffed their goodie bags with little trinkets, candy and toasted marshmallows.
"We just enjoying doing something special for the children. They really enjoy this event and many of the parents seemed to have fun watching their children participate in the activities," said NAS Jax Child Development Center Program Director Mary Cano.
The center's next big event will be a Thanksgiving luncheon Nov. 21. For more information, call 542-5434.
