CVW-7 continues OEF missions over Afghanistan
Aircraft assigned to Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 7 embarked aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisen-hower (IKE) (CVN 69), continue to provide close air support and reconnaissance to International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) troops on the ground in Afghanistan as part of Operation Eagle.

Flu vaccine arrives at NavHosp Jax
Naval Hospital Jacksonville has re-ceived about 10,000 doses of flu vaccine, with a second shipment due in early December. The immunization will be given to all TRICARE-eligible patients enrolled at Naval Hospital Jacksonville.

The air terminal located at NAS Jacksonville is a jointly operated Navy-Air Force/Air Mobility Command facility, providing air transport services to destinations in Europe, Southwest Asia and numerous U.S. cities. It remains one of the most prominent military air terminals in the world, and as such, provides ample opportunity for active duty, retirees and their dependents to travel virtually cost-free on a ''Space A'' basis.
