Jack Scorby Jr. welcomed the newly appointed U.S. Commander, Fleet Forces Command Adm. Jonathan Greenert to the station Oct. 30. Greenert, who was making his first official trip to the Jacksonville area since assuming command Sept. 29, also met with Commander, Navy Region Southeast Rear Adm. Michael Vitale and various other commanding officers. CMDCM(AW/SW) Rich Hay of Commander, Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing Eleven served as guest speaker during the luncheon. Vietnam veterans to be honored tomorrow U.S. Congressman Ander Crenshaw, (R-Fla.) and Commander, Navy Region Southeast Rear Adm. Michael Vitale will recognize the contributions of Vietnam War veterans during a 10 a.m. ceremony tomorrow at NAS Jacksonville. Greenert visits FACSFAC Jax and SCC-J Adm.
