Combined Federal Campaign fund drive now under way
The 2008 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) for NAS Jacksonville and all its tenant commands and departments officially kicked off Sept. 24 at the Bachelor Officers' Quarters Pavilion.

Reserve medical personnel take up arms
When a hospital corpsman or medical officer deploys to the war zone, providing healthcare is not their only role. They are also warfighters. Like the Soldiers, Sailors and Marines they care for, they can find themselves under enemy fire. At those times, defending themselves and others in their unit becomes their primary mission.

Team Navy Jax helps raise funds for MS
For the fourth consecutive year, 28 members of Team Navy Jax spent the weekend of Sept. 20-21 pedaling 184 miles in support of the 22nd annual Bike MS PGA Tour Cycle to the Shore benefiting the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society, a Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)-supported charity.
