Hickey retires after 21 years of service
SKCM(AW) Tracy Hickey said her final goodbyes to her fellow shipmates of Navy Reserve Fleet Industrial Supply Center, Jacksonville Detachment 108 when she retired from the Navy after 21 years of service Sept 23.

Child Development Center promotes a healthy learning environment
The Morale, Recreation and Welfare De-partment's (MWR) Child Development Program exists to enhance the quality of life for military families and Department of Defense (DoD) employees. The center adheres to strict Navy policies that ensure quality child development services are provided to military and DoD families for the effective operation and accomplishment of their mission. Childcare concerns can have an impact on performance and productivity of military and non-military parents.

Newly pinned chief follows family footsteps
Naval service is often a family tradition passed on through generations of Americans. MCC(AW) Dawn Montgomery, as-signed to Navy Public Affairs Center Detachment Jacksonville, is proudly keeping the tradition of Navy service - and particularly the chief petty officer heritage - alive in her family. Her grandmother served in the Navy, and her mother, father and stepfather are all retired Navy chief petty officers.

Jax Sailors focus on motorcycle safety
Motorcycle riders from Com-mander, Patrol Reconnais-sance Wing 11 met at the NAS Jacksonville base theater recently for the annual motorcycle safety stand-down. Approximately 120 Sailors benefited from the valuable safety talks given by guest speakers from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO).
