CNRSE implementing family IA support program
Many service members coming back from the Middle East have a hard time readjusting to a normal life style and some even suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) due to physiological and psychological stressors experienced while deployed. Military members go through a series of health screenings before and after deployment to identify any mental or physical problems that may have been caused by their deployment and treatment is issued accordingly. However, until recently, the families of those deployed have had little in the way of education on what to expect from their spouse or parent after they return from the war zone.
