NAS Jacksonville earned its fourth consecutive Chief of Naval Operations Occupational Health Ashore Safety Award in the large installation category. Air Ops Sailor returns home from Afghanistan
A special homecoming took place Feb. 23 as ET2 Sam HerediaPerez of the NAS Jax Air Operations Ground Electronics Maintenance Division, surprised his two children at Dismore Elementary School. HerediaPerez was deployed as an individual augmentee to Afghanistan for the past eight months.

The Navy Supply Corps 214th birthday was celebrated Feb. 24 at the NAS Jacksonville Officers' Club. Held in conjunction with the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Jax Regional Supply Officers Conference (RSOC), the event was attended by over 100 active duty, retired and civilian logisticians.
