NAS Jacksonville Youth Activities Center earns NAA accreditation
The NAS Jacksonville Youth Activities Center (YAC) has earned their accreditation from the National AfterSchool Association (NAA). This accreditation will remain in effect until November 2011 at which time the center will be reevaluated.

Agreement helps Sailors with more educational opportunities
In 2003, Commander, Navy Region Southeast (CNRSE) and Florida Community College Jacksonville (FCCJ) signed an agreement that provided CNRSE Sailors with greater educational opportunities. After five years, an amendment was signed Feb. 15 and included even more opportunities for Sailors.

CNATTU donates 1,300 hours to Habitat for Humanity in '07
Throughout 2007, the instructors from Center of Naval Technical Training Unit Jacksonville (CNATTU) volunteered more than 1,300 hours of labor in support of the Clay County Habitat for Humanity.

Looking for a few good musicians
Navy Band Southeast (NBSE), under the direction of Lt. Kenneth Collins, is one of 13 official U.S. Navy bandsproudly representing the Commander, Navy Region Southeast. They were established in 1995 and consist of 45 highly trained professional musicians dedicated to the highest levels of musical performance.
