New citizens sworn in at NAS Jacksonville

Shortly before noon on Dec. 17, HM3 Nova Ignacio was feeling nervous as she analyzed a blood sample at the Naval Hospital Jacksonville Laboratory. It wasn't because she was five months pregnant and a soon-to-be first-time mom. She had been waiting for this day for much longer. Today was the day she would be sworn in as a United States citizen.
